Cookie Policy

1. Controller

SAINT NICHOLAS S.R.L., operating under the Saint Nicholas Yacht brand, controls the technologies described here.

Registered office: Via Fratelli d’Italia 5, 21052 Busto Arsizio, VA, Italy
Italian tax code and VAT number: 04124210123
Contact: info@saintnicholasyacht.com

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text records that a website or service may store in a browser. Local browser storage can remember information for a similar purpose. Other technologies, such as a tracking pixel, can measure an interaction without displaying visible content.

Technical technologies may be used where strictly necessary to deliver a service requested by the visitor. Optional measurement or personalisation technologies require a prior choice and remain off by default.

3. Current website status

The website is hosted and delivered through Netlify. Like any hosting and security service, it may receive limited technical request information, including IP address, browser information, requested resource, date and time, to deliver and protect the service. This is not used by Saint Nicholas Yacht to create a visitor marketing profile.

The interest form uses Netlify spam filtering and a hidden field to help detect automated submissions. This website does not load a Google CAPTCHA service or set Google CAPTCHA cookies.

Fonts and browser software files are served from this website. If the local browser libraries fail to load, the page software may request replacement files from unpkg. That request sends technical connection information to the service even when optional measurement is off. These delivery requests are not Brevo tracking cookies.

4. Browser storage

Because optional website measurement is currently unavailable, this preference record is not created through the current settings panel.

5. Planned optional website measurement

Saint Nicholas Yacht has selected Brevo as its email and contact management provider. A future optional website feature may use the Brevo tracker to measure pages viewed and interactions and, for an identified visitor, link those events to a contact profile for personalised communications.

If activated, this feature would be blocked until a visitor accepts it through the website settings. Rejection would not affect access to the website, the interest form or either email subscription. Neither email subscription would override a website rejection.

The Brevo tracker may use an identifier called visitor_id. It is not set by this website now. Before activation, the Cookie Policy will be updated with the final configuration, provider details and duration.

6. Email delivery and aggregate statistics

Individual reporting of email opens and link clicks is disabled in our Brevo configuration. Aggregate opening and click counts remain available, and messages can still contain tracking pixels and redirected links. Delivery and failure records can identify the recipient; they are distinct from opening and click reports.

Subscription campaigns are not active at the date of this policy. We will not introduce email measurement without verifying the applicable legal basis and safeguards and obtaining consent where required. The interest form does not collect consent for email measurement, and website cookie settings do not enable it.

We do not use individual email activity to personalise communications. Further details about the current configuration and planned email services are in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

7. How to manage choices

You can open the website privacy panel at any time by selecting Cookie settings in the footer. When optional website measurement becomes available, the panel will allow an equally accessible acceptance or rejection and will keep the optional control off by default.

You may also delete browser storage and cookies through your browser settings. Deleting a stored choice may cause the website to ask again when an optional feature is available.

8. Updates and contact

We will update this policy before activating a new optional technology or when a provider, purpose or retention period changes. The version and date at the top show the current text.
